Q: Will my package make it by Christmas?
A:  99% of our products come from warehouses in CA, NV and TX.  As such here is the shipping details for shipping UPS GROUND for the rest of the season;
East coast, Florida and Maine, last ground  day is 12/16/09 Wed to arrive by 12/24.
Mid West, Mi, OH,IL etc. last ground day is Thursday 12/17 to arrive by 12/24
TX and MT WI etc, last ground day is Friday 12/18 to arrive by 12/24
 
West Coast, Monday is the last day to ship ground.
Q:  How can I place my order if I experience difficulties with your website?
A:  If you should have any difficulties placing your order online, please give us a call at 1-866-589-1645 and we will be happy to take your order over the phone.
 
Q: Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?
A: Yes of course!  When you shop at WorldWideChessSets.com, you never have to worry about credit card safety. We guarantee that every transaction you make will be safe.  WorldWideChessSets.com use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with most common browsers, so that only WorldWideChessSets.com can read a buyer's personal information.
 
Q:  What credit cards to you accept?
A:  We gladly accept most major credit cards and PayPalŪ.
 
Q:  Why do the charges appear so quickly on my charge card, even if the product is back ordered?
A:  We use PayPalŪ as our Merchant interface, it is their policy, sorry, not ours.
 
Q:  What method of shipping do you use and how much are shipping charges?
A:  Do to the weight of our products we use UPS, your costs depend entirely on the total weight of your purchase.
 
Q:  What happens if a product is backordered?
A:  We try to our website up-to-date with products currently in stock.  From time to time, due to a shipment delay, or damaged products during our QC prior to shipment, we may have to inform you of a backordered product.  As soon as we realize there is an issue, we will notify you in writing.  We want to know if you would like to wait for the product to arrive or if you would like a full-refund.  We want you to be happy - the choice is yours.
 
Q:  How long does it take to receive my order?
A:  We have three different warehouses; Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Houston.  Typically a UPS ground order takes 5-10 business days from the date of purchase.  Please let us know if you require faster shipping for those special occassions!
 
Q:  Do you accept returns?
A:  Yes, to inquire about returning an item, please call WorldWideChessSets customer service at 1-866-589-1645.  Upon approval, you will receive a Return Authorization Number.  We will not accept any returns without prior approval. Please read our Policies page for complete details.
 
Q:  How long does it take to have the credit appear on my statement?
A:  It will depend when your credit card company closing date is, and how long it takes them to process the refund.  It could take one (1) to two (2) billing cycles.
 
Q:  Do you have a privacy policy?
A:  Yes, your right to privacy is very important to us. Q: Do you ship international?
A: Quick answer, it depends.  Please call 1-866-859-1645, or send us a note support@worldwidechesssets.com.
 
Q:  Do you have a catalog?
A:  We are in the process of creating our catalog.  If you sign up for our newsletter you will know when our catalog is available!
